Diamondbacks manager Kirk Gibson said Friday that Josh Collmenter may be moved to the bullpen.
The Diamondbacks announced Friday that Collmenter would make his next scheduled start Monday against the Marlins, but Gibson wasn’t ready to go that far Friday. He plans to make up his mind Saturday whether Collmenter will make the start or someone will be called up from Triple-A. Top prospect Trevor Bauer just pitched Thursday night, so Patrick Corbin or Tyler Skaggs would appear to be the likely candidates for the Monday assignment. Stay tuned.
