Red Sox placed OF Jason Repko on the 15-day disabled list with a separated shoulder.
Repko was summoned from Triple-A last weekend and promptly added to Boston’s hideous luck with outfield health. Boston fortified depth by trading for Marlon Byrd and promoting Lars Anderson. Repko is no lock to return to the roster when he returns to health.
