Desmond Jennings homered and plated three runs in Sunday’s win over the Twins.
He took Francisco Liriano deep for a two-run shot in the fourth. Jennings’ second bomb of the season was also his second in four games, while he’s now batting a respectable .262/.319/.385. He’s still only stolen three bases while roping four extra-base hits, however. Don’t be surprised if it takes Jennings another month or two to settle into a groove during his first full major-league campaign.
