According to Eduardo Encina of the Baltimore Sun, the Orioles still plan to sign Seong-Min Kim.
Major League Baseball voided an agreement between the O’s and Kim in February because the Baltimore front office did not follow protocols laid out by the Korean Baseball Organization when courting the 17-year-old left-hander. But the Orioles are hoping to give it another shot soon. Kim has been suspended from baseball in Korea, so he’s likely in a rush to get something done state-side.
