Domonic Brown is currently sidelined after jamming his thumb while diving for a fly ball Monday.
The injury isn’t believed to be significant, but Brown expects to be out for “a couple more days.” “Everything’s fine,” said Brown. “I?m just playing it safe.” The 24-year-old missed out on an opportunity at a starting job last spring after breaking his hamate bone and he’s already in danger of falling behind in his efforts to win a roster spot this spring.
