Brandon Morrow (Blue Jays)

Brandon Morrow blanked the Red Sox for two innings Wednesday as part of a 3-3 tie.

The Red Sox had already used their last pitcher, Doug Mathis, for two innings, so this one didn’t go into extras, and the Toronto split-squad had to settle for a tie. Morrow allowed a double to Mike Aviles, the first hitter he faced, before retiring six in a row. He struck out one.
